Back in 1906, when brothers Martin and Petar Župić built their family house, they had no idea that after 112 years it would become a tourist destination for many world travelers and their friends. This beautiful three-storey stone house has been completely restored in the spirit of the 21st century and opened its doors to guests in the spring of 2018. When you enter the house in the spacious hall there is a stone pillar with the engraved names of its builders and the carved four-leaf clover sign — the trademark of the family. The nickname of the family was Juraga and we still use the same in our tourist offer. Behind the house there is a large park with centuries-old trees, Mediterranean holm oak and Istrian oak trees and islands of Mediterranean plants which are overflown by colorful butterflies in spring and summer providing an atmosphere of calm and relaxed atmosphere. A winding stone path made of white slate leads to a hill on which there is a salt water pool, sunny from the early morning hours until the last evening rays.
In this oasis of peace and fragrance, every casual traveller will find his place for rest and meditation, and for those who want to write messages to friends in peace — the old well is the right place for just that.
In 2022, in the park behind the house, we completely restored the former commercial building, and intended it for families, friends or business people looking for peace and complete privacy.
We named the facility Vileta Juraga.
